Sun, Oct 4 - the feast day of St. Francis - Mass will be celebrated in the chapel at San Pedro at 10am and a Celebration of the Life of St. Francis will be held following the Mass for all who attended. There will be food and informational displays on his life.

Annual Regional Fraternity Council Meeting
On May 15-17 the Five Franciscan Martyrs Region will hold its annual meeting. At this meeting the new Regional Executive Council (REC) will be elected to serve a 3-year term guiding our Region. See registration form and agenda below.

Greccio Celebration 2026
The FFMR Region celebrated the appearance of Our Lord at the town of Greccio on Saturday, January 10, 2026. We started with noon Mass at the Basilica of Mary, Queen of the Universe, 8300 Vineland Ave., Orlando, FL 32821. After Mass we gathered for a light lunch and a presentation about Greccio. We then concluded the day with a procession to the Greccio chapel, where lifesized statues of the Nativity scene were present.

THE WHOLE FRANCISCAN FAMILY CELEBRATES THE FRANCISCAN CENTENARY
The Ministers General of the Franciscan Family invite us to commemorate the Franciscan Centenary which was announced on November 29, 2021, at the Sanctuary of Greccio. From 2023 through 2026 we will remember the stages of the 800th anniversaries of the Rule, the Christmas of Greccio (2023), the Stigmata (2024), the Canticle of Creatures (2025), and the Easter of Francis (2026). This will be the opportunity to revive our common Franciscan identity.
