Dear Brothers and Sisters,

May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Attached* please find the announcement of the Secular Franciscan Conference sponsored by the Francsican Institute at St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York.  The dates are July 13 -15, 2018.  Arrivals can be Thursday evening, July 12th.

The title is, “Becoming Prayer, Becoming Presence: A Workshop for Secular Franciscans” and Br. Richard Hendricks, OFM Cap. is the facilitator.  He is from Ireland.

Please note that the dates are the same for the Summer Seminar at St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania.

I am sure that with over 12,000 Secular Franciscans in the USA, we can fill both programs successfully.  The universities need to work events around their campus schedules as well as around the travel schedules of the presenters/facilitators.

Please do spread the work about both programs.  We hope to fill both abundantly!  Thank you.

19th Annual Inter-Fraternity Celebration of the Feast of St. Clare   (see .PDF file below)

To my fellow Secular Franciscan Ministers,
We are very please to inform you that we have a very worthy speaker for our St. Clare Celebration.  It is Fr. John Anglin, OFM from St. Anthony Friary in St. Petersburg.  He is often referred to as The Wandering Friar.  That is also the name of one of the Books he has written as also the name of his blog.  He has been a Friar for 54 years and was ordained 47 years ago.  He has done innumerable retreats and days of reflection and is quite renowned as a speaker.  We should be in for a real treat.  His topic will be “St. Clare: Model of Contemplation.”
I hope that many of you and members of your fraternities will be able to attend our Celebration at St. William’s on Saturday, August 11th.  Please let me know the number that will be attending from your fraternity on or before August 4th. so that necessary preparation can be made.  I will be in Georgia but I can be contacted at either  or 239-248-2157
